We’re biting off our $3,000 manicures from the stress of the upcoming Season 2 finale of Revenge. So far we know that one of the nine original main characters will die and that the focus will be on tech genius Nolan Ross.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with actress Ashley Madekwe at the College Television Awards on April 25 to talk about the upcoming finale and the shocking news that show creator Mike Kelley is departing the drama.

Wetpaint Entertainment: We've heard the last few episodes of Revenge are pretty dangerous, what can you tell us about them?

Ashley Madekwe: They’re pretty epic. We lose someone, that’s not a secret. I can’t say who obviously because that would ruin it, but we lose someone and it’s an original cast member. So that’s going to happen. It’s a really big episode, we got to shoot in the New York street scene in Universal which we don’t often do, we’re usually in the Graysons’ or sometimes we’re in Emily’s apartment so it was really cool for me to finally get to be in New York. Which is where we are supposed to be every day when we’re working but we rarely get to be out on the streets of Universal that’s actually New York.

Are you satisfied with where your character ends up this season?

I am really satisfied where she ends up, especially in the finale she has a huge decision to make and a huge loyalty shift. Her relationship with Emily is at a stalemate at the moment, but she definitely finally picks a side and commits to it.

Ashley and Emily have had a very cold relationship this season.

They never had an argument, they’re just not friends at the moment. Right now they’re just not friends, they’re acquaintances. That continues, that definitely continues.

What can you tell us about the finale?

I can tell you that someone is going to die and that is it. I can’t tell you anything more than that without giving too much away. There’s also a big revelation I can’t tell you about! Death and revelation!

How do you feel about Mike Kelley leaving the show?

I think it’s really sad. It sounds like a mutual decision. Mike is a dear friend of mine and a huge inspiration and it won’t be the same for me without him. Or Melissa Loy, in fact, his producing partner who I’ve worked with for many years on other shows. I’m going to miss them both.

Well hopefully whoever takes over will continue down the same juicy path it’s on now!

I think it will. I think there’s talk of Mike staying on as a consultant, which I think is a really great idea. Nobody knows the story like he does, he knows it backwards and forwards.
