On Revenge, Emily VanCamp plays badass martial arts master, Emily Thorne. But in real life, the Canadian actress is a laid back family girl.

And while on break from filming, Ems took a trip home to visit her sisters, parents, and adorable grandmother for the holidays!

On Dec. 27, Ems tweeted a photo with her granny with a Christmas tree in the background.

Aww! Maybe if Emily Thorne had a grandmother like that, she wouldn’t turn to using a black hoodie and setting people’s homes on fire. Just sayin’.
