After half a season of focusing solely on her mother and hunky British boyfriend, Emily Thorne’s finally getting her priorities back on track for the rest of Revenge Season 2. The death of her cell block sister Amanda Clarke is going to shift her back to her original mission to destroy the Graysons.

And she’s not the only one affected by this shocking death.

“I think [the episode] really begins to change a lot of the psychology of a lot of the characters that people have come to know on the show,” actor Gabriel Mann told Entertainment Weekly.

How long will the effects of Amanda’s death plague the Hamptons? Apparently for quite some time.

“At a certain point, enough terrible things happen that it’s going to affect you in some kind of extreme way,” Gabe continued. “That has happened in spades as a result of the last four episodes we’ve shot since the boat exploding episode. It’s really kept all of us on our toes.”

Do you think her death was necessary to the storyline or could these characters have faced a shift some other way? Tell us your thoughts below!
