With increased popularity comes a prime spot for Revenge’s second season.

The hit drama will air on Sunday nights, filling the time slot formerly taken by Desperate Housewives.

“I remember some time ago thinking that that’s where it should have been, but of course, you’d never want to supplant another show,” Madeleine Stowe said to Access Hollywood. “That seems unnatural.”

But with Desperate Housewives ending in its eighth season, the network decided it was time to put its latest hit on Sunday nights.

“Those are big shoes to fill,” Josh Bowman admitted. “But I thought that if we didn’t have it at first then maybe we’d have it go to that spot.”

Josh could see only one potential problem with the new time slot: “It’s probably more pressure now for the network,” he said.

“That’s their problem!” Madeleine responded.
