We just said goodbye to Amanda Clarke and Nate Ryan on the last episode of Revenge Season 2, “Sacrifice,” but another major “character” is about to make an exit in some upcoming episodes The Initiative.

The terrorist organization, Americon Initiative, has plagued Emily Thorne and the Graysons since the downing of Flight 197. But when Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with actor Josh Bowman on March 4 at The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences event, An Evening With Revenge, he gave us all the details on the organization’s demise.

“The Initiative storyline is going to come to a conclusion, which I think everyone’s more or less looking forward to,” Josh said. “We are going to come back to what the first season was about, which was the original cast and these rooted characters and where they’re going, and why is Emily [Thorne] there. You're going to see that over the next few episodes.”

To refresh you on the current Initiative storyline, Helen Crowley was threatening the life of Daniel Grayson so Victoria casually pulled out a gun from behind her poolhouse couch cushions and popped a cap in H-Dawg.

Now the Hamptons' most powerful family is desperately trying to cover up the murder, while The Initiative’s latest representative, Trask, is trying to catch them in the act.

If we’re being honest, this storyline isn’t too rivetting so we’re not particularly sad to see it go. But what do you think? Is The Initiative essential to Revenge or should Emily Thorne stick to attacking the Graysons? Tell us below!
