Revenge’s Madeleine Stowe Reveals the Origins of Victoria Grayson’s Death Stare (VIDEO)

Though Emily Thorne and Victoria Grayson are constantly competing on Revenge, it’s not their stunning wardrobes or equally-matched scheming that has us shivering. No, what really gives us the heebie-jeebies every Sunday are these leading ladies’ death stares.

Actress Emily VanCamp regularly talks about her look, fondly known as “The Croc,” but Madeleine rarely talks about the evil that goes into her penetrating stare of doom.

That is, until she appeared on Katie Couric’s talk show, Katie, and answered a fan’s question about her infamous look.

“I know that Emily thought about The Croc, because she was thinking about a crocodile swimming through the waters,” Madeleine said. “I didn’t. To me, it’s that thing of staying very collected.”

One of her Revenge coaches told her not to move her eyebrows, and with that final touch, her look was completed.

“Everyone thinks I’m shot up with botox — no, no, no it’s not that,” she said with a laugh.
