Which Major Revenge Plot Twist Was Inspired By Fan Suggestions? Ashley Madekwe Tells All!

Last night’s winter finale of Revenge was filled with some delicious twists and turns, but not all of them were pre-planned. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actress Ashley Madekwe (Ashley Davenport) revealed that one major plot point was created solely by fan theories.

"I kept telling [show creator Mike Kelley] that whatever we were doing, for some reason, the audience thought that Conrad and I were having an affair," Ashley revealed. "We weren't. It was never written. It was never played that way."

So Ashley and Conrad’s sultry affair was created entirely based on fan’s tweets and comments sent to Ashley Madekwe.

“I kept badgering him — 'They think it's happening anyways, so we might as well give them what they want,' " she said. "And once we get to Episode 9, he's like: 'You know what? You did have sex once, and we're going to shoot a sex tape.' My Twitter followers made that happen. They made me a whore."
