Kenya Moore Disinivited from ‘RHOA’ Trip For Husband’s Lack of Participation — Report
Kenya Moore's top-secret wedding is turning into a top-secret marriage.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has reportedly been disinivited from the cast's annual trip — and it's all because her new husband, Marc Daly, doesn't want to be filmed!
If you recall, the "Gone with the wind fabulous" Bravo star got hitched to her now-husband in July 2017 without the Bravo producers — or most of her co-stars — knowing about the destination wedding in St. Lucia.
RHOA producers were reportedly pissed when they found out about the marriage and upset she would hide such a huge part of her life from the cameras.
Though the 46-year-old eventually confirmed she did indeed get hitched (and eventually revealed who her lucky husband was), she seems to prefer to keep her personal life off the show, with Marc, a former investment banker, rarely if ever filming scenes with her and the ladies for Season 10.
And now, his refusal to participate is going to cost them.
Kenya has offically been disinvited from the cast's annual trip as a result of her husband's refusal to film, a source tells TMZ.
The site says the ATL ladies are scheduled to go to Barcelona, Spain, but Kenya got the boot last minute because Marc refused to film scenes with his wife leading up to the getaway.
The network allegedly saw this as another excuse to keep him off camera, and rescinded her invite as a result.
This could potentially cost Kenya her peach, not to mention lots of moolah, as the Housewives get paid per episode. And we all know the vacation episodes are the most dramatic ones of every season!
However, Kenya is clapping back at the rumors she got fired or will get fired from the show, revealing on Instagram she is merely "sitting" and a "queen cannot be removed from her throne."
Another report by Us Weekly claims it was the ladies' rather than producers' request to have Kenya stay home, and they lobbied for returning housewife (and Kenya's frenemy) Kim Zolciak to take her spot in Europe instead.
However, though Kim didn't comment on the Kenya rumors, she said via Instagram she "decided" to not go on the trip to do press for Don't Be Tardy Season 6 instead. Oh, the shade.
So as it stands now, Kenya is still a full-time cast member and hasn't quit nor been fired from the long-running franchise — she just might be fomo while the rest of the ladies film in Barcelona.
But if she keeps this up, newbie Eva Marcille, who confirmed she's joining Season 10, could be taking both her place and Phaedra Parks's permanently!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 premieres Sunday, November 5 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
