With the way things ended between Love & Hip Hop star Rich Dollaz and Erica Mena during the Season 4 reunion special, we thought that these two wouldn’t share a stage or scene, let alone a show together again, but according to Rich, he’ll definitely be back for Season 5. However, it appears that Richie D will be all about the business this season… well, mostly.
During a recent radio interview, Rich told fans that we can expect to see him and Yandy Smith working to find new talent for their record label, Lenox Avenue Records.
“We’re going on our first national talent show to find our first act, and you’ll probably see that act on Season 5. We start shooting that in April, and we’ll probably be back on TV by October, ” he told DJ Flexx.
Rich also decided to give an explanation for his behavior during the reunion show, in which he called Erica’s girlfriend, Cyn Santana, a prop, and told Erica that she needs to take responsibility for her flirtatious actions.
“At the end of the day, I’m a business oriented person, but what’s not going to happen is we’re not going to go through a whole season, you think you rocking me to sleep for the season and then the season goes off and I end up with the short end of the stick. I’m going to have my last word,” he said, later adding, “I think for the most part, I got put into a corner where I had to be like ‘you’re not going to continue to do this, like what gives you the right?’ so I gotta show you who’s the boss now and that’s what happened.”
When we exclusively spoke with Erica about her relationship with Rich, the model/singer told us that she’s cut all ties with him, but knowing Richie D, there’s always room for a messy surprise.
