Rick Ross Arrested at Concert After Getting Caught With Weed — Report
Rapper Rick Ross was arrested over the weekend in North Carolina, stemming (so to speak) from his arrest last year for marijuana.
Fox reports that Rick, 38, was arrested on June 27 immediately following his performance at SuperJam 2014 at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina. He was taken into custody by the Greensboro Police Department and has been released from custody after posting the $1,000 bail. Sources tell TMZ that Rick was cooperative with the cops.
There has been a warrant out for Rick's arrest since last year, as he never showed up to court to address a 2013 marijuana arrest in Greensboro. Police finally nabbed Rick when he returned to North Carolina for the concert.
Rick had been in the news for happier reasons recently, as he was photographed last week looking much slimmer than usual. He has lost roughly 100 pounds since last year, thanks to more time on the treadmill and a diet higher in produce.
Rick's sixth studio album, Mastermind, was released in March 2014 and hit number one on the charts, featuring lead single "The Devil Is a Lie."
Are you surprised that Rick was arrested this weekend? And are you impressed by his dramatic weight loss?
