Rihanna Producing Style Competition Show: What’s the Big Prize?

Good lord, where does Rihanna find the time for all her exploits?! Between making incredible music, planning a world tour, and posting pictures of her butt covered in sand, it’s amazing she has time to think of working on something else — but she does and did.

Rihanna’s new show, Styled to Rock, is set to hit Style Network on November 5. And while we haven’t heard a ton of buzz around the new show, it sounds like it could be pretty life changing for one lucky winner.

Although RiRi isn’t hosting the show, she is the executive producer, and has a big hand in the grand prize. A dozen up-and-coming designers will compete to create “a fabulous look for the best of the best in the music world,” meaning that the winner could be dressing the hottest acts around. (Sorry, guys, the denim-on-denim couple thing has been done perfectly, so pick a different inspiration.)

The winner will take home $100,000 in cash, get a feature in Glamour, and will have the chance to join Rihanna’s own design team.

As for just who these folks are with their eyes on the prize, there are too many intriguing talents to list. One to watch though? Twenty-two-year-old single mom Adriana Diaz, who taught herself to sew at age eight, had a kid at 17, and who "credits her daughter as her driving force behind her determination to accomplish her dreams."

And just to make sure the clothes made on the show are the hottest, bestest, fiercest around, Ri and co. have hooked up some of the best in the business as mentors. Who’s on board? Oh, just supermodel Erin Wasson, music producer / artist / genius / fashion icon Pharrell Williams, and Rihanna’s personal stylist, Mel Ottenberg.

Do you think this show will be a hit? Will you watch? Weigh in below.
