Sarah Michelle Gellar is living the good life, and here's why: She's taking everything a little less seriously.
"All my priorities have changed," the Ringer stars says in the December issue of Self magazine. Now, her best friend is her daughter, and she's no longer working killer hours like she did on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
"I don't work on weekends anymore. Everybody knows you can't sway me on that point, so nobody even tries." (Man, we wish we had that power!)
"Work doesn't define who I am," she continues. "I love what I do, but I don't feel a burning pressure anymore."
She also doesn't feel pressure to conform to Hollywood standards of beauty. While she works out, she isn't obsessed with her diet or how much she weighs. In fact, she doesn't even own a scale!
"I've never believed in them, because your weight fluctuates," she notes. "We all have good days and bad days, and since you can't please everybody, try to please yourself first. I care only that I'm healthy."
A very healthy way of thinking to us!
