Sarah Michelle Gellar Would Return as Buffy ... on Sesame Street

Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans hoping Sarah Michelle Gellar will someday reprise the role can harbor a little hope now. She'll play Buffy again, but there's one catch — only on Sesame Street, for her daughter Charlotte could see her.

"That would be the only place I'd return as Buffy," she tells the Times of India.

Considering the more laidback life she's got working on Ringer, it's no wonder she'd rather not return to Buffy days. But she's still very proud of her work on the show.

"Without wishing to sound obnoxious, I do think it changed the course of television. It certainly changed genre television. It just came at the right time for that," she continues. "

"I could share a scene with Elmo. I mean, I've worked with some great people — Andy Garcia, Forest Whitaker — but they're not Elmo," she says.
