Jennifer Lawrence on Her Rise to Fame: “Nobody Can Stay Beloved Forever” (VIDEO)

Jennifer Lawrence may be everyone’s dream best friend for now, but the Hunger Games star worries it won’t stay that way forever. And now that there’s been a little backlash against her, Jen’s thinking her time might be up in 2014 — and she’s not surprised one bit.

“Nobody can stay beloved forever,” she reasons in her Marie Claire interview for the June 2014 cover. “I never believed it, the whole time. I was like, just wait: People are going to get sick of me. My picture is everywhere. My interviews are everywhere.”

And while we can’t dream of a world where we would be tired of the adorable klutz we’ve come to know as Jennifer Lawrence, some people are already seeking out their next celeb BFF and have had enough of Jen’s quippy remarks and accidental Oscars falls.

“I’m way too annoying because I get on red carpets and I’m really hyper, most likely because I’ve been franking, and I can’t not photo-bomb somebody if it’s a good opportunity,” the 23-year-old says. “But it’s something I always tell myself: ‘You need to calm the f—k down. You don’t want to constantly be a GIF.’”

Which is good advice for everyone, really.

“Trust me, if I was going to plan it, I would have done it at the Golden Globes or the SAGs,” Jennifer says of her infamous Oscar fall, which has become tradition for the past two years. “I would have never done it at two Oscars in a row. I watch Homeland — I’m craftier than that!”

Whatever, Jen. We will never get tired of your red carpet antics, and we will always wish we could have sleepovers with you and paint each other’s nails. Your place in our hearts is permanent!
