Rob Kardashian Changes Twitter Name to Klarence Kardashian — WTF?

Oh, the famous Kardashian krew. You’ve got mom Kris, her daughters Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie... and her son, Rob.

We completely understand that Robert Kardashian, Jr. is named after his late father, and that as such, he doesn’t exactly fit into the rest of his family’s infamous naming scheme. Still, we can’t help but wonder if having a non-K name ever makes poor Rob feel the tiniest bit left out.

Thank goodness for Twitter. With two simple clicks, anyone can change his or her profile name. And that, it appears, is exactly what Rob Kardashian has done. On October 16, the Kardashian brother changed his Twitter display name from “Rob Kardashian” to “KLARENCE KARDASHiAN.”

Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, and Klarence. Rob’s new name certainly does fit the bill a bit more. That said, we’re still a bit confused as to what exactly prompted this sudden identity change.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that Rob’s account may have been hacked. But the 26-year-old has been tweeting like crazy today, and most of the tweets appear to be ads and other promotions for his new partnership with Viviscal hair growth supplement. So maybe the name change is all part of a plan to drum up buzz.

We’re not sure. All we really know is that Rob has gone from ROBERT Kardashian to KLARENCE KARDASHiAN, though his actual Twitter handle @robkardashian remains the same. Either way, you can consider us sufficiently konfused.
