On Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show on Wednesday, Rob called in to defend his sister's controversial choice and to let everyone know that he thinks the name is "cool."
"I told Kim and Kanye this: I'm like, 'Yo, people are always going to talk, whether it's good or bad," Rob said. "There's always going to be the haters, but do what you guys feel. Like, you know everyone's going to say, 'Oh, you're coming up with some weird celebrity, crazy name.' You know how it is."
"[But] North West, it sounds cool!" he added. "And North is the highest point, so it has a lot of meaning to it."
Rob isn't North's only defender. Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner defended the name this week, too, during a June 25 appearance on Today. "I love the name North," she said. "I'm pro-North, absolutely. The way [Kim] explained it to me, North means highest power, and North is their highest point together. I thought that was really sweet."
It definitely sounds like Rob and Kris have been prepped to defend the name in a similar fashion, but Rob also revealed what kind of gift he is looking for to give North.
"I'm looking for, like, a giant animal to get North," he said. "The baby came a month early. [She's] so small, she needs a big stuffed animal."
