Robin Thicke Names New Album “Paula” After Estranged Wife (VIDEO)
In what could either be seen as a romantic ploy to win back his ex’s heart or the desperate actions of a man with nothing to lose, Robin Thicke has decided to name his next album “Paula.” We will leave it up to you to decide which is probably the case.
E! News is reporting that Robin’s album is being released July 1 through Star Trak/Interscope Records. Given the success of his last album ("Blurred Lines" debuted at No. 1 in 2013), we’re sure he’s hoping to catch some of that same success. But given the title of the album, we're guessing the success he's looking for is getting back together with his wife.
The album with include the new single “Get Her Back,” which is about as subtle as the album title itself.
Paula Patton acknowledged her complicated relationship with the singer and recently said in an interview with Vanity Fair that she’ll always have some connection with Robin.
“We’ve known each other since we were teenagers,” she said. “All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there — always was, and always will be. He wasn’t my first kiss, but he was my first lots of other things.”
How do you think Paula responded when she learned of the news? Do you think she’ll end up taking him back, or do you think she can smell desperation a mile away? Let us know in the comments below!
