Rodney King, Key Figure in Los Angeles Riots, Dies at 47
Rodney King, whose role in a 1991 police brutality incident in Los Angeles initiated a series of infamous riots, has died at the age of 47.
Rodney King was also known to viewers for his appearance on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew and Sober House. TMZ reports that his fiancee, Cynthia Kelly, found his body in a swimming pool. Reportedly, she also told sources that King had been drinking and smoking marijuana in the hours leading up to his death.
