Ruby Rose Opens Up About Adult Acne, Calls Out Media For Saying She’s Anorexic

Ruby Rose is opening up about her recent skin issues that left her in tears.

The actress recently revealed she had an allergic reaction, which caused her skin to breakout.

She got honest with fans on social media Monday, December 4 and explained her current situation.

"This acne belongs to me, not them, and you are welcome to it,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

“I never thought I’d see the day I’d leave my beautiful country balling my eyes out...when I was so excited to come home.”

The Orange Is the New Black star was in Australia promoting her new movie, Pitch Perfect 3.

“Yeah it sucks..for me, I don’t see how it’s bothering so many others? But I’m a human. It happens..one side of my face is clear and the other is a mess [sic],” she continued.

“Dermatologist says it’s from the bacteria from all the phone interviews I did for PP3 [Pitch Perfect 3] and a reaction to hotel pillow cases (which I already know).”

She also called out the media for accusing her of having an eating disorder and only running unflattering photos in their stories.

“Also this is always my back,” she captioned a photo of herself at the premiere.

“I have a tilted posterior (it’s why I have abs but no butt) and spinal curvature from a bad car accident.”

She also slammed the Daily Mail for writing a story to generate comments.

“It is very important to know what an eating disorder is, to know how to speak about it properly when you have such a platform such as a newspaper [sic],” she wrote.

“So from the bottom of my heart I am sorry if those stories triggered anything in anyone,” she continued.

“This is the problem with believing tabloids or any news without research.”
