Ryan Edwards Has Never Looked Happier or Healthier Than He Does Post-Rehab (PHOTOS)
Ryan Edwards has got that newly-married, post-rehab glow!
The Teen Mom OG dad has been working on his health and sobriety since finishing a 30-day stint in rehab in June, and it definitely shows in the new photos we’ve seen of him thus far.
Seriously, we don’t think we’ve seen Ryan look this good since his days on 16 & Pregnant!
As TMOG fans know, the Tennessee dad checked into treatment shortly after his May 15 wedding to Mackenzie Standifer.
He was seen nodding off at the wheel in the TMOG Season 6B finale, presumably from taking too many Xanax, which was certainly a cry for help.
Since completing treatment, Ryan has said “life couldn’t be better,” and dude isn’t kidding — he is having a ball this summer.
One of the first pics we saw of Ryan post-treatment came last week, when he reunited with 8-year-old son Bentley at his Little League game:
Now, he’s keeping the father/son moments coming via this pic Mackenzie shared on Instagram of their little family.
“My boys!” Kenzie wrote.
BTW, the other child in the photo is her son, Hunter, from her previous relationship.
Then came this photo of the new Mr. and Mrs. sitting on what we presume to be their stoop.
Ryan is sporting his wedding ring and drinking a Gatorade. Aren’t they the cutest?!
Ryan and Kenzie also went on a recent family vacation with his parents, Jen and Larry, where they posed on the beach looking as sun-kissed and in love as ever:
And though the dad of one isn’t exactly a social media expert, he’s been updating fans a bit on his progress, too.
Since completing treatment he’s posted pics of his new arm tattoo, his collection of motorized trucks, and his pup, who is undeniably adorable:
While Ry’s ex Maci Bookout said on the Ask the Moms special she wasn’t totally sure when she’d trust Ryan again with their son, it looks like that time has come, even if he’s not getting more official custody as he’d hoped.
But still, this is beyond progress for a guy who only a few months ago was slurring his words and whose life was literally in jeopardy — what a difference a few months (and 30 days in-patient) can make.
We’re rooting for ya, Ry guy!
