Which Oscar-Winning Actress is Older: Sandra Bullock or Julia Roberts?

Who says there are no good parts for women over 40 in Hollywood? This year, all the Best Actress nominees were over the age of 40, except for 39-year-old Amy Adams. But as we were collecting demographics on our favorite actresses, we couldn’t help but double-take when we learned pretty woman Julia Roberts is 46 and the always congenial Sandra Bullock is turning 50 this year!

Considering the fact that both these past-year winners have such timeless looks, we thought it’d be fun to quiz our friends on Viggle LIVE! to see whether they knew which of these A-list stars was older. This one turned out to be a real stumper, with 39 percent of users believing Julia is older and 37 percent guessing they are the same age. Only 24 percent of users correctly identified Sandra as the older of the two.

We can definitely see why so many users would think Julia is older (and, no, it has nothing to do with who looks younger). While Julia’s star began to rise in the late ‘80s, Sandy’s breakout role didn’t come until 1994’s Speed made her a household name.
