Grey’s Anatomy Sarah Drew Channels ‘50s Glam on Naluda Magazine Cover

From hardcore trauma surgeon to ‘50s pinup girl! Grey’s Anatomy’s own Sarah Drew (April Kepner) is gracing the cover of Naluda Magazine in red lipstick and pincurls, and she looks amazing.

In the mag, Sarah tries on several different looks inspired by the nifty ‘50s as she poses in an old school diner — complete with giant milkshake and an antique jukebox! Sarah may have actually found her calling through this photo shoot… and now we’re wishing we could see the entire cast dressed up for different eras.

And as Sarah chats about Grey’s with the magazine, she has nothing but awesome things to say about working with such a great cast and crew — and how well the show was able to hide her pregnancy before her son, Micah, was born.

“I got tired a lot and we had to be creative with lab coats and charts to hide my big belly, but everyone took such great care of me,” Sarah shared. “Our team at Grey’s knows how to handle a pregnant lady. I was the fifth actress in a row to get pregnant and hide that pregnancy on the show. They couldn’t have been more supportive and wonderful.”

In case you’re a bit fuzzy on the details, the other pregnant ladies of Grey’s? We’re assuming she’s referring to Ellen Pompeo (Meredith), Jessica Capshaw (Arizona), Chyler Leigh (Lexie) and Chandra Wilson (Bailey).

“We are given amazing stories to tell,” Sarah said of the show. “We talk to the writers all the time and we feel like part of a collaborative team. I feel like my handprint has been on many of the scenes we have shot, and that makes me excited to go to work every day.”

What do you think of Sarah’s cover shoot? Wishing for a ‘50s episode of Grey’s? Let us know what you think in the comments!
