Grey’s Anatomy’s Sarah Drew Is Friends With Glee’s Harry Shum Jr.

Oh, how we love when two different TV worlds collide.

This time, it’s Grey’s Anatomy and Glee, when we learned this week that Sarah Drew (April Kepner) is friends with Harry Shum Jr., who plays Mike Chang on the musical dramedy.

On January 9, Harry tweeted Sarah to catch up. “I think a coffee session with @TheLovelyAbs is in the future,” he said, referring to actress Abbie Cobb.

“Yes please!!” Sarah responded.

So how do these two know each other? We think they might have met on the set of Moms’ Night Out, an upcoming comedy that Sarah stars in about a group of moms who — you guessed it — want a night out. Harry and Abbie are also in the movie, which is due for release this year.

Another Glee connection for Sarah? In 2009, she guest starred as Suzy Pepper, a student who was (hilariously) obsessed with Mr. Shue.

We totally wouldn’t mind if Harry wanted to reunite with Sarah on Grey’s, either — maybe he could play a patient named Mike Chang suffering from a dance-related injury? Just an idea.

Any other Glee stars you wish the Grey’s cast would hang out with? Let us know below!
