The veep is a murderer, Olivia's mom is probably a terrorist, and Quinn is... well, we really have no idea about her anymore. Clearly, the pieces are in place for an explosive Scandal Season 3 midseason finale, and we expect Season 3, Episode 10: "A Door Marked Exit" to deliver, big time.

This is Scandal, so twists, turns, and probably some brutality are basically a given. What else does tonight's episode have in store for us? We've gathered all of the biggest spoilers about the episode right here, so you can prepare yourself for what's coming.

The Official Synopsis

Let's start with the official synopsis of the episode, which is... not very helpful.

"Now that the truth is out there, things will never be the same and everyone will have to face the consequences of their actions."

We're guessing the "truth" in question is that little "Olivia's mom was a terrorist" thing, and we're definitely on the edge of our seats waiting to see how Liv, Fitz, and the rest of the gang deal with having aided and abetted an enemy of the state.

Let's Talk Murder

Last week's episode ended with an unexpected (and perhaps over-the-top) twist: Sally Langston, after having handily defeated Cyrus in a battle of blackmail, slipped up on the path to presidency by, well, murdering her husband. America tends to frown on that sort of thing.

She turned to Cyrus for help, and in this sneak peek of the episode we see more of the aftermath of the murder.

Can you blame Cyrus for seeming totally shocked? He may be a political chessmaster, but there are some moves so extreme, you just can't see them coming.

So, What's Up With Quinn?

Quinn pretty much already faced the consequence of her actions last week. So, where does she go from here?

Well, according to actress Katie Lowe, Quinn "really, really, really in her heart loves Huck and Olivia Pope and being a gladiator." But that doesn't necessarily mean that she'll be able to return to the fold after everything that went down, though we do know there will be a scene between her and Huck. Whatever Quinn's current plan, motivation, and alliance, we can expect to get a better sense of where she stands and what her goals are tonight.

And given that last week ended with Quinn in the same room as Rowan Pope, we're also curious to know if she's involved in the "very unexpected standoff" Rowan finds himself in where, according to TV Guide, "his words will cut someone deeper than that hole he threw Huck and Jake in."
