All of the characters on Scandal have secrets upon secrets, and that's just as true for President Fitzgerald Grant as anyone else. In fact, the prez has so many skeletons in his closet it's a shock he's managed to stay in office for so long without being impeached. But while we may never get to the bottom of who Fitz really is, at least we can get to know the actor who plays him, Tony Goldwyn.

So, who is the man with that strikingly handsome face? We've collected five fun facts about Tony Goldwyn so you can get to know him a little better.

1. His full first name is Anthony. Tony's full name is Anthony Howard Goldwyn.

2. He has an industry family. Tony isn't the first person in his fam to take interest in the entertainment biz. His mother is an actress, his father a producer, and oh yeah, his grandparents were two actresses, a playwright, and a producer. Still not convinced entertainment is in his blood? His older bro is also a big time producer, and his niece is a TV actress and writer.

3. His grandfather wrote Gone With the Wind. Yeah, you know that playwright grandfather we mentioned? Well, his name was Sidney Howard and he also wrote screenplays. He took home an Academy Award in 1940 for writing a little movie called Gone With the Wind.

4. He's a director, too. Not content to stick with acting, Tony has also done his fair share of directing (including an episode of Scandal!).

5. He was Tarzan! You Disney kids out there will get a kick out of this: Tony voiced the title character in the Disney animated flick Tarzan.
