Scandal's Season 3 midseason premiere, Season 3, Episode 11 ("Ride, Sally, Ride") really kicked things off with a bang, as Vice President Sally Langston declared war with her intention to run against Fitz in the next election without resigning her post in the meantime. And according to Season 3, Episode 14 ("Kiss Kiss Bang Bang")’s official synopsis, it sounds like Sally isn't letting up her opposition any time soon, which could be very bad for the Fitz presidency.

Here's what the synopsis has to say:

“Sally sets a meeting with the NRA which sends the White House into a tailspin. Olivia and Huck come to shocking realizations and a surprising person asks for help from Pope and Associates.”

Hmmm... Sally meets with the NRA — National Rifle Association —  and "sends the White House into a tailspin." How does that happen? Does she get the NRA to turn against the prez? They're a powerful group that generally supports Republican candidates, so if they're going to back Sally over Fitz or start opposing laws he's trying to pass, that could be a real issue come re-election.
