Scott Disick’s Mother, Bonnie, Dies at Age 63
Sad news for Scott Disick’s family. Scott’s mother, Bonnie, passed away last week at age 63.
The cause of her death has not been released, but sources claim she died suddenly, leaving friends and family shocked and grief-stricken.
Scott, an only child, is “devastated” by her passing, according to RadarOnline.com. The 30-year-old recently returned home to the East Coast with girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian to comfort his father, Jeff, a real estate developer, and to attend the funeral, which was held on the family’s native Long Island.
“Scott and Kourtney traveled from Los Angeles to Long Island for Bonnie’s funeral,” says a source. “It was a small affair. There was just a handful of people. No other Kardashians beyond Kourtney attended. But the entire family is saddened with the news of Bonnie’s passing. They loved her so much.”
Although neither Scott nor Bonnie were frequent guest stars on the Kardashians’s various reality TV shows, fans did briefly see them in an episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, when the couple, along with son Mason and sister Khloe, visited Jeff and Bonnie in the Hamptons for some family bonding time. As we learned around the same time, Scott’s parents inherited a large portion of their fortune from Jeff’s dad, David, a successful attorney, author, and businessman. Scott’s father more recently made headlines for his financial and legal woes.
Mason and Penelope’s non-Kardashian grandparents never appeared much on air but Scott was, according to a source at RadarOnline.com, “very close to his mother,” making her sudden loss all the more tragic.
We wish Scott and his family the best during this difficult time.
