We’ve been counting down for the January 26, 2014 wedding of The Bachelor Season 17 couple, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici. We have the pizza guy on speed dial, boxes of wine stacked on top of each other, and enough tissues to get through at least one person’s vows. But it seems like they just can’t wait that long.
On January 3, Cat tweeted, “Looking into getting our marriage license today. It's happening! #countdownlowedown.” Wait. Hold the phone. Does that mean they’re technically getting married early?
We doubt it, because that would be weird, right? JP and Ashley signed their marriage certificate with Chris Harrison as the officiant, and it was a beautiful part of the day. So, it stands to reason that SeanCat would follow suit, making the signing part of the two-hour special. Right? Well, we’re not positive, because the quirky duo tends to follow their own bliss, however they see fit.
We should probably note that it’s pretty common to get your marriage license early, since it can take time for it to be approved and finalized and kissed by Seal (you know, like a kiss from a rose? Get it? Get out of here) or whatnot. Especially complicated is the fact that Sean and Catherine live in Texas but are getting married in California, meaning they might have to make sure they have all the state lines straight.
It’s just a hair over three weeks until the wedding, and it’s time for them to put the finishing touches on everything. Lucky for the Dallas-based couple, they’ve had the help of some primo wedding planners to nail down the little things. Apparently, though, that doesn’t include someone picking up the ole marriage license...
