We’ve always considered Sean Lowe and Nick Viall to be two of the Bachelors with the best senses of humor.

However, during Monday’s Episode 6 of Bachelor 2017, it seemed like the latter’s humor ran out. Well, sort of.

It should be said, the Season 21 star and his predecessor have always had a relationship comprised of teasing and good-natured prodding.

Actually, in this season’s premiere, Sean even made a wisecrack about Nick’s previous appearances on the show.

"You know what's the fun part about Nick is that a lot of people see him as this giant tool bag that they don't like,” he quipped to Ben Higgins and Chris Soules at the time.

He added, “On [Andi Dorfman's] season, that's how he came across.”

That type of sarcasm about his pal has continued on Twitter while the show has been airing, with the new father’s weekly sarcastic live tweeting.

During this week’s outing, he wrote such comments as, "Girls would get sent home in Jr. High for wearing shorts as short as Nick's."

Or...

"Your first 3 tries didn't pan out so here's a bunch of girls who weren't born yet when you were in high school.”

Ha! Hey, you can’t argue that when half the contestants are in their early- to mid-20s, right?

Still, these digs appear to have actually gotten to the Wisconsin hunk, as he finally fired back.

Sean cued him up by writing, "Samuel's crying over here and it's as if he doesn't care I'm trying to tweet along to the show. Hope my next kid is more considerate.”

Nick’s response?

A simple but effective retort, "Stick to parenting."

Dayum, dude! If this was all in good fun, it doesn’t really translate well to Twitter. Then again, Mr. Lowe seemed to get it.

The 33-year-old replied, “ZING!!!”
