Members of Bachelor Nation tend to stick together. So when they find themselves in the same city, then usually make quick friends. But with their crazy respective schedules Melissa Rycroft and hubby Tye Strickland and Sean Lowe and fiancée Catherine Giudici haven’t had time to bond yet — despite both couples now living in the Dallas area.
Even so, Melissa couldn’t be happier that Sean and Catherine are set to become man and wife in just a few short weeks during their televised Jan. 26 nuptials. Chatting exclusively with Wetpaint Entertainment, she shares her good wishes for them.
“We didn’t get invited to the wedding,” Melissa tells Wetpaint Entertainment. But she makes it clear, there are no hard feelings. “Honestly, I didn’t expect to. A ceremony like that is for close friends and family.”
“Sean has been an acquaintance of mine for years now,” she continues. “But I haven’t talked to him in a while and I haven’t had the chance to meet Catherine yet.”
She did, however, run into Sean’s parents recently. “We saw them at the grocery store,” Melissa relates. “They’re so excited about the wedding.”
And Melissa says she and Tye will definitely be watching from home. “Sean’s a great guy,” she says. “I really hope everything works out for them!”
