It feels like a long time since we talked about The Bachelor’s sex life. Last season was a pretty normal round of fantasy suites and slut-shaming hookups (oh, hey Clare Crawley), but lest we forget about Season 17, there was once a Bachelor who didn’t do any of that jazz and his name was Sean Lowe. Remember him?

Basically, the entirety of Sean’s season was dedicated to him not getting any — except for the time he set the record for longest onscreen kiss with now-wife Catherine Giudici’s best friend — and now he’s being recognized for it. There’s logic here, we promise.

The Candie’s Foundation honored Seanie today, May 7, on The National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. Actress Vanessa Hudgens also got props for her role in Gimme Shelter, while Teen Mom’s Maci Bookout received accolades for her “social media activism to educate America’s youth about the devastating consequences of teen pregnancy.” Because not everyone gets paid to be on a TV show thanks to getting knocked up in their teens…

The nonprofit welcomed Sean and wifey Catherine to New York City for the event, and the blond one posted an Insta pic in honor of the occasion. “Thank you @CandiesOrg for the award this morning.#NoTeenPreg,” he captioned a shot of himself with a terrifying baby bottle announcing that 700K teens will become prego this year. Yikes! And good on ya, Sean!
