Justin Bieber Searched for Contraband at Puerto Rico Airport
Does Justin Bieber's baby-like face look like that of a criminal to you? Apparently, authorities in our territory to the south thought so — security agents at an airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, searched the 19-year-old's luggage for contraband over the weekend, TMZreports.
The Biebs hit up the Caribbean island to perform for his adoring Puerto Rican fans on October 19, but the search delayed his departure for more than an hour.
Officials tell TMZ that the search was "random," but the site also touts that the agents zeroed in on the pop star because of his loads of luggage.
We're not exactly sure what kind of contraband the agents thought they'd find, but Justin is no stranger to bringing undocumented possessions — and creatures — to foreign countries. In March, German authorities confiscated Justin's pet capuchin monkey, Mally, since he and his people didn't provide health documents. Mally has since been relocated to an undisclosed German zoo.
Justin has had a busy week so far. On Friday, the singer hit up a "gentleman's club" in Texas and reportedly got a little handsy with one of the "dancers."
Thanks, Justin — your unpredictable antics always make our Mondays a lot less mundane!
