The Originals Music: Songs From Season 1, Episode 11 — “Après Moi, Le Déluge”

Now that we’ve been welcomed back into the supernatural drama going on down in New Orleans, we’re excited to see what the second half of Season 1 has in store for us. Luckily, when there’s drama on The Originals, there’s usually a great song attached to the scene. We’ve come to expect this on this series as well as The Vampire Diaries.

In tonight’s episode, it was all about Davina (Danielle Campbell) and the four stages of her self-destruction. With the Harvest Festival still incomplete, she was creating a mess of the French Quarter, calling on the forces of earth, wind, water, and, ultimately, fire because of the power trapped inside of her.

Given the dramatic nature of tonight’s episode, we were expecting some great music to come along with it — and we definitely weren’t disappointed.

Check out the jams from tonight’s episode:

Song: “Hard to Find”
Artist: The National
Scene: Everyone reacts to the Harvest Festival not working. Marcel and Klaus reconnect, Hayley and Elijah almost kiss.

Song: “If I Had a Heart”
Artist: Fever Ray
Scene: Sabine (aka Celeste) meets up with strange, resurrected witches in the street.

The Originals airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
