The Originals Promo: Season 1, Episode 15 — “Le Grand Guignol” (VIDEO)

The Originals roared back from an Olympic-induced hiatus tonight with Season 1, Episode 14 (“Long Way Back From Hell”), with Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) finding out that Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) were responsible for bringing Mikael to New Orleans and running him out of town. Thanks to Genevieve, Klaus is now privy to his sister’s wrongdoings.

In the promo for Season 1, Episode 15 (“Le Grand Guignol”), Rebekah and Marcel are on the run from Klaus — thanks in large part to Elijah’s (Daniel Gillies) last-minute intervention.

“There’s only one way that we can hide from Klaus,” Marcel tells Rebekah while the two of them drive down the road. “Get out of town.” Sounds like a solid plan, dude. Elijah told you guys to run, and you should definitely heed his warning.

With the only logical plan being to run, Rebekah doesn’t seem convinced, calling it a “suicide mission.”

Meanwhile, Klaus is laying in bed trying to recover from yet another blow from the dark magic-filled dagger. “They will pay for this,” Klaus mumbles to Elijah. We suspect Klaus will do everything in his power to get his revenge.

In the final moments of the promo, we see Marcel telling Rebekah, “I will not leave you behind.” Have they turned the car around? That would be silly, but Rebekah has tried to leave before. Perhaps she’s having second thoughts again…

The Originals airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
