“Don’t make this harder than it needs to be, brother,” Klaus tells Elijah. It seems that Klaus wants the grimoire and Elijah has possession of it.
Elijah is one step ahead of his brother: “Well, admittedly, I did have a theory that your sudden interest in mother’s grimoire was related in some way with whatever foolishness you have been conducting with the Crescent wolves. Therefore, I took it upon myself to carefully place it where naughty little finger could not pry.”
Klaus doesn’t deny that his need has something to do with the Crescent clan, but insists that doesn’t necessarily mean he is up to something: “And here I thought you of all people would understand I’m simply trying to help those wolves,” he tells Elijah.
Hmm...will Klaus convince Elijah to give him the grimoire? Doubtful, considering the last time we saw these two they were at one another’s throats because Klaus was going behind Elijah’s back potentially to undermine the peace treaty Elijah has forged. And what does Klaus even need the grimoire for? Does he intend to give it to Genevieve, like she asked? Or does he have another witch — potentially Davina — who is willing to perform magic for him? All questions hopefully answered in next week’s much-anticipated installment…
Why do you think Klaus wants the grimoire? Do you think Elijah will give it to him? Sound off in the comments below!
