Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 11 Review: What Did You Think of “Man on the Moon”?

It's a good thing that our technology works better than that at Grey Sloan Memorial, or else we might not be able to review Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 11 — "Man on the Moon" — that aired tonight, Thursday, December 5.

Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Shane's (Gaius Charles) implantation of their 3D-printed conduit into newborn Nathan ended on an uncertain note — while live-streaming the operation, no less. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) thought that their portal vein saved the sheep, but that lamb done died. And Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Callie weren't having any luck with the interaction between their patient and her robotic hand.

Luckily, everyone's luck changed: Mer and Steph found renewed hope to try again, Nathan made a dramatic recovery with the conduit, and Derek and Callie (Sara Ramirez) had their patient move her hand by focusing on her husband instead of on her struggles.

This is why they're paid the big bucks!

Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) isn't having trouble with technology so much as her own OCD habits, working with a psychologist and with Richard (James Pickens Jr.) to get better.

Jackson (Jesse Williams) and Matthew = next new bromance? Should they just run off together and leave April (Sarah Drew) at the altar? OK, we'll stop with the slash fan-fic daydreaming, but we appreciated how they finally came to terms with each other's existence in April's life.

That said, we did love how April stuck up for herself at her baby shower, and we would love having Mer, Cristina, and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) in our wedding party! (Who needs family, anyway?)

Cristina and Mer had another blowout argument — this time about whether Shane's attitude was a personality problem or just a side effect of his ambition. We sorta sided with Cristina's argument toward the latter, but she's not the most reliable judge of character since they're playing with each other's surgical instruments, if you catch our drift.
