Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Episode 14 Sneak Peek: Alex Dumps Jo (VIDEO)

The no-fraternization rule is wreaking havoc among the surgeons on Grey's Anatomy — particularly Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo (Camilla Luddington), who appear to break up in this sneak peek from Season 10, Episode 14 ("You've Got to Hide Your Love Away"), which airs on March 6.

The scene starts innocently enough — Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) wants Alex to share in her squee-ness over something cute that Callie (Sara Ramirez) did that morning. But then Jo barges in, speaking, like, 100 decibels louder than she should.

"Alex!" she shouts, catching up to him on the staircase. "You can't keep ignoring my pages. We really need to talk!"

Jo says they can't have a private conversation because it's forbidden. Girl, you can still have a private-r convo than this one! Seriously, you really wanna talk about your relationship this loudly and in the lobby?

Alex tries to tell her that no one is taking the "stupid" rule seriously, but Jo rebuts that she is. "You don't have to worry about it because you have superiority, but I'm a resident," she argues. "It's my reputation we're talking about — my career. I know that you think the rule's crap, but we can't just ignore it at my expense!"

Now Alex really hulks out, yelling right back at her: "So what, you're just going to roll over and let the hospital tell you who you can be with? … There's always a choice! You can choose to make the best out of a bad situation! You can choose to act like an adult! You can choose not to pick a fight in front of the entire hospital!"

Karev then makes the choice easier for her and dumps her on the spot, leaving Jo sobbing and realizing just how many Grey Sloan Memorial employees overheard everything. That's awkward.

Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 14 — "You Got to Hide Your Love Away" — airs Thursday, March 6, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
