Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 14: What to Expect From “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”

Grey's Anatomy is back, and the hospital is facing a new kind of crisis — a new rule that would make all the bed hopping we're used to a total no-no.

How will the docs react to this shakeup? We've gathered all the biggest spoilers, hints, and other info about the episode right here.

The Official Synopsis

Let's start with the official synopsis, of the episode, which gives us the lay of the land.

After an anonymous complaint is issued by one of their own, the hospital implements a non-fraternizing policy causing the couples to panic. Meanwhile, Emma [Marguerite Moreau] and Owen [Kevin McKidd] talk about the future, Cristina [Sandra Oh] and Meredith [Ellen Pompeo] enjoy a little girl time, and Richard [James Pickens Jr.] enlists the residents to help research a rare cancer case.

So, What Exactly Is the Rule?

In this sneak peek, we get a better sense of that's going down. Owen says that relationships between co-workers are "discouraged." It's only relationships between superiors and subordinates that are "strictly prohibited."

Which Couples Panic?

Well, this rule only really impacts docs who aren't at the same level, which only leaves a few people who have to worry. People like Alex and Jo. In this sneak peek Alex seems to dump Jo — but it's such a public, dramatic scene, we're pretty sure Alex and Jo have staged it so that everyone thinks they're broken up while they keep staying together.
