Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 18 Synopsis — Flu Runs Amok At Grey Sloan!

There's a virus sweeping the halls of Grey Sloan Memorial, and it's threatening to make all the surgeons into shuffling, gurgling, diseased walkers. No, the show isn't doing a Walking Dead crossover — cool as that may be — but our fave TV docs do have to contend with a nasty outbreak in Season 10, Episode 18 — "You Be Illin'" — which airs on Thursday, April 3.

Here's ABC's synopsis of the installment, per SpoilerTV:

The hospital gets inundated with flu infected patients, which causes the doctors to slowly fall ill one by one. Derek [Patrick Dempsey] must fight off the sickness as he prepares to give a speech on brain mapping, and the residents place bets on who will fall ill first. Meanwhile, a new doctor at the hospital gives Alex [Justin Chambers] a glimpse into an alternate form of medical practice.

Poor Derek! The prospect of giving a speech is stressful enough, let alone giving one while miserably sick.

As for the residents' game, it's the kind of morbid fun and games we're used to seeing the surgeons enjoy — we bet Cristina "Oh, it's like candy but with blood, which is so much better" Yang (Sandra Oh) is involved.

And if you're wondering who that new doc is, we've got your handsome answer right here!

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
