Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 19 Review: What Did You Think of “I’m Winning”?

Realization was the watchword in the episode of Grey's Anatomy tonight, April 10 — Season 10, Episode 19: "I'm Winning."

Cristina (Sandra Oh) realized she wasn't as "que sera sera" about the Harper Avery award — and that she actually wanted and expected to win. Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) realized and actually admitted that she was stuck in her research and perhaps a little jealous of Cristina's glory, but she channelled that frustration into devotion to her work.

Meanwhile, thanks to that handy emotion-reading machine, Callie (Sara Ramirez) realizes that she's not as happy as she claims to be — and that she wants another baby. Luckily, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) is on the same page!

Jackson (Jesse Williams) realizes that he might have a bit of a spending problem — and not just with $4 lattes but with $25,000 plane rentals. And speaking of money, Alex (Justin Chambers) realizes that mo' money means fewer problems — and decides to continue private practice talks with Lebackes (Patrick Fabian).

So the doctors are evolving and maturing and throwing themselves into forward progress. We have a feeling that their ambitions will collide and clash and hit roadblocks both beatable and unbeatable as we hurtle headlong toward the season finale. Five episodes left, people!
