Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 20 Review: What Did You Think of “Go It Alone”?

Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 20: "Go It Alone," was all about how hard being a doctor can be — no matter how strong your support system is. So it's no surprise that many of the plotlines revolved around overworked, stressed out docs.

Derek found himself at the receiving end of Meredith's wrath after he forgot to tell her he'd sent the kids to Callie and Arizona because balancing the brain mapping project, work, teaching, and home life was getting to be too much even for Mr. Perfect. But we loved that by the end, they agreed that they needed to figure something out, together.

Meanwhile, instead of focusing on writing her speech and celebrating, Cristina found herself spending the night before the Harper Avery award ceremony trying to save the lives of the kids from the family with all the heart problems. But in the end Owen and Meredith were there with her when...she didn't win. Aw. But hey, friends! It was a sweet moment, even if it was heavy with disappointment.

There were also some big moves on the relationship front. Callie and Arizona flipped a coin to figure out which of them will carry their second child — until Arizona adorably decided she wants Callie to do it after all (loved it!).

In sad news, Jackson and April had a major blow-up fight over religion. It was really painful and raw, but amazingly well acted and very realistic. This is what happens when you rush into a marriage, guys. In the end April showed up at Callie and Arizona's house, needing a place to stay for a little bit.

Overall, we thought this was a really strong episode, with just the right mix of drama and happy moments.
