Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 22 Review: What Did You Think of “We Are Never Getting Back Together”?

There you have it, folks: Thanks to Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 22 — "We Are Never Getting Back Together," which aired tonight, May 1 — we now know how Cristina (Sandra Oh) will be leaving Grey Sloan Memorial. Burke (Isaiah Washington) offered her something she couldn't refuse. And just like Shonda Rhimes said, it was something we could never have expected.

He didn't offer her his heart. He didn't offer her colleagueship. He offered her the keys to the hospital. And what a luxe hospital it is. That's like a surgical utopia filled with shiny things.

As mixed as our feelings are about Isaiah Washington's return to Grey's, we have to say we missed Burke: his poise, confidence, and charisma.

And we're glad that the show acknowledged the elephant in the room: There was no way Burke couldn't have feelings for Cristina. Those feelings exploded out of him in a true Rhimesian monologue that reminded us why we love this show. (Also, how nice slash terrifying does all-consuming love sound?!)

Meanwhile, we love Jackson (Jesse Williams) even more now for making a compromise for the health of his marriage to April (Sarah Drew). At least there's waffles in it for him!

And how amazing was April's rant against Richard (James Pickens Jr.)? She's always spoken without thinking — and this is probably no exception — but in this case, it was badass. Badass April is our favorite April.

The patients of the week not only provided neuro work for Amelia — it also provided thought-provoking drama with the Twin A and Twin B issue. And Lizzie's death was especially sad because her sister was literally as close as a sibling could be.

And our final thought on the episode: It was effin' hilarious when Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) plan to hid her favorite baby names in a sea of wackadoodle selections backfired. "Agamemnon," Callie (Sara Ramirez) said, considering her wife's fake suggestion. "Ha! I kinda love it! Yeah!"
