Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 5 Spoilers: 4 Things We Learn From the Promo

After an emotionally exhausting premiere, and a big 200th episode celebration, it's time for Grey's Anatomy Season 10 to settle into the season. Based on the promo for Season 10, Episode 5: "I Bet It Stung," we're in for a strong showing next week.

So, what can we expect now that the hospital is finally ready to move on from the storm? We've taken a close look at the promo for the episode to see what it reveals.

Meredith's jumping back into work. The promo opens with Mer insisting to Cristina that she's not going to ease herself back into work — she wants to jump into the deep end. This is Meredith Grey we're talking about here. She does things right.

A twisted sister fight. Normally, we'd expect Cristina to be all about Mer getting her hands dirty ASAP, but it turns out that the besties are in a fight over what we can only assume is a particularly interesting or difficult patient. At :05, they both insist the patient in question is theirs.

Did Cristina steal the surgery? Who's in the right? At :08 Mer accuses Cristina of stealing the surgery, so we assume Mer got to the patient first. Based on the next clip, we're guessing Cristina decides to take over because she thinks she can do a better job.

Harsh truths. This isn't some blink and you miss it fight between friends. At :10 Mer insists to Cristina, "I'm every bit as competent a surgeon as you are." The response? "No, you're not." Ouch. Yeah, Cristina might have a point — Mer is great, but Cristina is beyond brilliant — but that is not a nice thing to say to your friend. Will their relationship recover?

Check it out below.
