Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 5 Sneak Peek: Zola Gets Injured, Cristina Doesn’t Care

Is it getting hot in here, or is it just the tension between Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) boiling over in this sneak peek from Grey's Anatomy Season 10, Episode 5, "I Bet It Stung"? Earlier today we shared a clip with the first signs of trouble between these two besties, but in this preview, they're going at each other's throats.

"I'm here," Meredith says breathlessly to Christina as she bursts into the scrub room. And then she notices Bailey (Chandra Wilson) scrubbing in, as well, as the docs prep to do a simultaneous heart-liver transplant.

"What's she doing here?"

"She's doing the liver," Cristina replies.

"I'm doing the liver," Meredith asserts, explaining how Zola needed two staples and that she's in the care of a nurse. (Apparently Zola gets hurt in this episode!)

But Cristina cuts her off. "I don't care about Zola!" she exclaims. "I'm thinking about the patient."

"Whoa," Mer replies. "Dial it back for a second."

Mer explains that Zola didn't get a concussion and is fine now. (Apparently Zola's injury is some sort of head trauma!)

"Are you?" Cristina demands. "You're going to be worried about that and a hundred other things besides my patient and my liver."

Mer states emphatically that the woman is her patient and she always has been her patient, but Cristina asks if she's finished reading a crucial article about the procedure du jour — knowing full well that Meredith hasn't.

"Dr. Bailey knows the procedure. Dr. Bailey is scrubbing in on my patient," Cristina says before heading into the OR, leaving Mer looking shell-shocked in her wake. Yikes.

Will this episode mark the end of their friendship? Or just a hurdle? Let us know your thoughts below.
