Grey’s Anatomy Season 10, Episode 9 Huge in Ratings — But Why?

The ratings are in, and Grey’s Anatomy is on top for the 9 pm Thursday timeslot. And if that’s not impressive enough, the total number of viewers for last week’s episode (Season 10, Episode 9: “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word) — 8.56 million — was nearly triple that of the show immediately before it on ABC, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

But why did so many people decide to watch?

We suspect it could be because Sara Ramirez (Callie Torres) worked her gorgeous butt off this week, promoting the episode (and the show as a whole) to tons of different media outlets — and The View, to name just a couple. It sounds like Sara’s hard work definitely paid off!

Another reason? Last week’s episode was, in our opinion, the best of the season — even the most diehard Grey’s fans can get bored of hearing about portal veins and intern stuff sometimes, and Episode 9 gave us everything we love about our favorite show: drama, Calzona scenes, and a really surprising ending that made us want more!

And, of course, the obvious reason: Grey’s Anatomy is just awesome.

Why do you think so many people tuned in Thursday? Let us know below!
