Grey’s Anatomy Executive Producer Says Season 10 Finale Will Leave Us “Shaken”

We may have barely had time to welcome Grey’s Anatomy back into our lives after that impossibly long winter hiatus, but the end is near. On Thursday, May 15, we will say so long to Season 10 — and to Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh). Bummer, but all good things must come to an end.

And according to Grey’s executive producer Tony Phelan, this year’s season finale will bring on the drama — much like every other season finale in this emotional roller coaster of a show’s history.

“The end is nigh, Grey’s fans,” Tony tweeted on March 22. “Leave it to our wonderfully talented writers to make sure y’all are SHAKEN NOT STIRRED by this season’s finale!”

We already expect to be traumatized by having to say what will be a most likely permanent goodbye to our old pal Cristina — and obvs, Shonda Rhimes and the gang have a little more torture up their sleeves to keep us wanting more all summer long.

And to be frank, Tony’s use of the word “shaken” worries us. Could the Grey’s writers have decided to let art imitate life and rock Grey-Sloan Memorial with a crazy scary earthquake? Maybe they’re over natural disasters for now, after last year’s superstorm.

Besides, Camilla Luddington (Jo Wilson) isn’t a huge fan of earthquakes, anyway… especially when they wake her up in the middle of the night.

What do you think the finale will entail? Give us your best guess below!
