Grey's Anatomy is making sure Season 10 ends not on a whimper but a bang — and we mean that quite literally!
ABC just released the synopsis for the May 15 finale — Season 10, Episode 24: "Fear (of the Unknown)" — and it's striking fear into our hearts. Here's what the network has to say:
In the Season 10 finale, the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital bid an emotional farewell to the beloved Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh). A possible act of terrorism rocks Seattle and causes chaos at the hospital. Meanwhile, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) makes a life-changing decision, and one doctor receives shocking news.
We already knew that this installment would be the last for Sandra Oh — though we're still in denial! — so let's move on to the more revealing parts of the blurb.
Now we have confirmation that the finale will amp up the drama with a terrorist scare — and considering the "chaos" that ensues at Grey Sloan Memorial, we're thinking that the act in question is a bomb blast or a chemical attack or some other horrific event.
One doctor will receive "shocking news," but that tease is so vague that we just got nothin' to say about it! Could be anyone learning anything.
But Mer's "life-changing decision" has our imaginations working overtime. She's already married, she already has kids, she's gotta be sticking around Seattle, so what now?
What do you think Mer will decide to do? Give us your best guess in the comments section below.
Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
