Grey’s Anatomy Season 10: Jackson Avery and April Kepner — What to Expect
Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) and April Kepner (Sarah Drew) seem as perfect for each other as almost any Grey's Anatomy couple, but that doesn't mean the path to true love runs smoothly for them — and that's if they finally get together for good at all! When we left off at the end of Season 9, April was engaged to hot paramedic Matthew, but ready to throw the ring away if Jackson gave her a reason to. So, will he do just that in Season 10?
We've gathered the juiciest spoilers about this troubled couple right here. So far, there's not much info, but we'll keep you updated as more details roll in.

Matthew is still around. However this romance resolves in the end, it sounds like April won't send Matthew packing right away, because he'll stick around for "more than a few" episodes in Season 10. It sounds to us like this love triangle isn't going anywhere yet.
Jackson feels hurt. Showrunner Shonda Rhimes also explained that Jackson felt "jerked around" by April last season, which means "for him, this is going to be an interesting moment when he gets to answer April, and we will see that eventually. It will be an interesting moment."
April needs to figure out what she wants. Meanwhile, Sarah Drew teases that in terms of April's love life, "I want her to figure out what she wants, and I want her to take guilt out of the picture." That makes it sound like she still hasn't figured out what she wants when the season opens, which makes sense, since the premiere picks up right where last season left off.
