Ready for a look into the crystal ball, Grey's Anatomy fans? The Season 10 premiere is still well over a month away (it premieres on September 26, 2013), but we already know when you should be marking your calendars for the season's post-winter hiatus return in 2014.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the Grey's Anatomy midseason premiere is set for Thursday, February 27, 2014.
Yes, you read that right — the show won't return for the spring half of the season until late February. But before you freak, here's the good news: This is part of a new programming strategy by ABC that will ensure that the spring section of the season will run with few to no hiatuses or repeats.
Grey's fans, who have long suffered the torment of the "one week on, two weeks off" theory of TV programming, will finally get to watch the show in one fell swoop, with week after week offering a new dose of dramatic fun.
So yes, the winter hiatus will be much longer than we're used to. But hey, that just means more time to break out the DVDs and re-watch old seasons!
