Grey’s Anatomy Season 10: Ellen Pompeo Says Premiere Will Make Fans Cry and Laugh

Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 kicked off filming this week, which means spoilery tidbits are starting to trickle in from the cast and crew. With a two-part premiere (airing Thursday, September 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT), we know to expect even more drama, but that didn’t make us any less surprised to see what star Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) had to say.

Today, Ellen tweeted a tease about how the premiere will make fans feel, and of course, one of them was to expect tears. She wrote:

That sounds like a typical episode of Grey’s with tears and laughter, but given the way the Season 9 finale ended — breakups galore and potentially-dead Richard Webber — we can’t just laugh this one off. That tweet made us nervous enough, then she spilled something else that was definitely not a positive remark about Season 10 in general, writing:

While that could be about them all partying at Joe’s, we bet it’s more along the lines of that we’re all going to have a lot of feelings. We are not ready for emotions that need to be eased with vodka. Not at all.
